This lobby had great light and the client
wanted an Asian theme. Keeping it
simple, we used orange/red ceramic
planters with ming aralia and
philodendron selloum.
One design issue we failed to address
initially is winter temperatures and the
fact that this area has no winter heat!
The Ming Aralia succumbed to the cold
and we replaced it (with no charge to the
client) with a more hardy podocarpus.
