The staff that works at The Plant Connection enjoy being
around people as well as plants. Our technicians
complete a three month training program to learn as
much as possible about our clients wants and needs as
well as plant care. We want to be your plant
professionals.

The Plant Connection was started in 1985 by our owner. While attending
college and waiting for the fairy godmother to tell her what to do with her
life, she was told about an educational program that taught you how to
care for plants and flowers. Since that sounded like great fun, she was off.
After completing her BS degree in horticulture at Michigan State and
working for an interiorscape firm in the Tacoma area, she was ready to go
out on her own. Twenty years later she is still loving creating new looks
with plants.

Charitable work: We donated plants to the
YWCA's new subsidized housing project
Opportunity Place. We also support NW
Hospital's yearly golf tournament and hold a
yearly sale to raise funds for Treehouse.
